Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up tufting machines according to production specifications, including yarn threading, needle bar adjustments, and pattern changes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with operators to ensure proper machine operation and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of setups, maintenance, and production changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in training new technicians or operators as needed.
- Perform blade changes, needle changes, etc.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, quality, or productivity issues.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements Skills & Qualifications:
- Capable of quickly identifying and addressing issues in the tufting process.
- Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively with other team members.
- At least one-year previous experience in textile manufacturing or tufting processes preferred.
