Company Description TINY TOT CLUB ENGLISH PLAY SCHOOL (a division under HSE Universal LLP) offers a comprehensive range of early childhood educational programs designed to nurture every aspect of a child’s development. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an LKG and UKG Teacher based at TINY TOT CLUB ENGLISH PLAY SCHOOL in Koyilandy. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and play-based activities that support early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional development. Daily responsibilities include creating and organizing classroom materials, guiding children during structured and free play, observing and documenting student progress, and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will communicate regularly with families about student development, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school events, and participate in staff meetings and training to continuously improve teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong classroom management and child supervision skills with the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
- Experience in early childhood education, including play-based learning, lesson planning, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to support children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior.
- Organizational skills for managing classroom resources, daily routines, and student progress records.
- Preferred qualification: diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Nursery Teacher Training, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Koyilandy and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented school environment.
Qualifications and requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred).
Certifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or Montessori Certification is highly preferred.
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience working with early learners in a nursery, play school, or kindergarten setting.
