Role Description
The Play Facilitator will be responsible for guiding and engaging children in play activities that promote their social, emotional, and physical development. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and leading structured and unstructured play sessions, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and collaborating with families to understand each child’s unique needs. This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Skills in child interaction, active listening, and empathy to engage effectively with neurodiverse children and their families.
- Experience in organizing and facilitating recreational activities, group games, and creative play.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to create a nurturing and safe environment for children.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families and team members.
- Understanding of neurodiversity and prior experience working with neurodiverse children is a plus.
- Certification or coursework in areas such as child development, special education, or play therapy will be beneficial.
