Platform Engineering Lead – Azure Data & AI
Experience: 10+ Years | Location: PAN India
Role:
Lead end-to-end design and delivery of a secure, scalable Azure Data & AI platform (Databricks, ADF, ADLS, Azure AI) with focus on networking, compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect Azure lakehouse (ADLS Gen2, Delta, Databricks)
- Build CI/CD using Terraform/Bicep & Git
- Manage ADF pipelines and platform environments
- Implement secure networking (VNet, Private Link, hub-spoke)
- Enable ML/AI (MLflow, Azure ML, Cognitive/OpenAI)
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance
- Optimize performance and cost (FinOps)
Mandatory Skills:
- Azure Databricks (Delta, Unity Catalog, MLflow)
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Networking (VNet, Private Link, Firewall)
- ADLS Gen2, RBAC, Key Vault, Entra ID
- Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD
- Azure AI Services
Other Requirements:
- Enterprise Data & AI platform experience
- MLOps exposure
- Strong leadership & stakeholder management
