3. AUTOMATION & DEPLOYMENTS
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines for provisioning and policy enforcement.
- Streamline deployment workflows for platform assets across environments.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for configuration changes — repeatable and auditable.
4. MONITORING, ALERTING & RELIABILITY
- Implement monitoring and alerting for cluster health, job status, and platform reliability.
- Proactively identify and resolve platform incidents and bottlenecks.
- Define SLOs and dashboards for observability into platform performance.
5. FINANCIAL REPORTING & COST MANAGEMENT
- Generate billing and cost reports, tracking consumption and cost allocation by team or project.
- Monitor cost impact of platform changes and communicate trends to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement cost optimisation opportunities.
6. DATA INGESTION & CONSUMER SUPPORT
- Manage data ingestion pipelines and permission configurations for source systems.
- Support and onboard internal data consumers and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to resolve access and workflow issues.
Skills and Expertise Required:

- Solid hands-on experience with AWS — S3, IAM, EC2, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Good working knowledge of GCP — GCS, BigQuery, and GCP IAM.
- Experience with IAM concepts and SSO providers such as OneLogin, Okta, or Azure AD.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

- Ability to read cloud billing reports and communicate cost trends clearly.
