Platform Engineer
A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company hiring its founding platform engineering team
Location: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad — or Remote (India)

Growth has outpaced this VC-backed SaaS company's internal tooling, and it has partnered with Flexiple to build out its founding platform engineering team in India. You will be one of the first platform hires, setting standards every future engineer at the company will build against. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Platform Engineer, you will build the internal developer platform, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service infrastructure that let product teams ship without waiting on tickets.
Key Responsibilities
Developer Platform & CI/CD
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let product teams ship multiple times a day
- Build self-service tooling for provisioning environments, secrets, and service scaffolding
- Own build systems, artifact registries, and release automation
Self-Service Infrastructure
- Develop internal platform APIs that abstract Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure for product engineers
- Define golden-path templates so new services start production-ready
- Track platform health and cut the time it takes to onboard a new service
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 to 6 years in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, with hands-on internal-tooling experience
- Strong command of Kubernetes, Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Comfort writing production-grade Go, Python, or TypeScript for platform tooling, not just scripts
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
