Job Description
- Hands on and working knowledge of plastic interiors parts processes - Pre and post processes.
- Process and general layout as per factory standards (Develop plant and assembly layout to improve process flow and minimise material handling).
- Capacity calculation and planing.
- Manpower estimations.
- Working experience on Methods, time and motions studies and implementations.
- Technical documentation (PPAP) proficiency.
- Working knowledge on Siemens PLM.
- Process FMEA and Control plan - (VDA Synchronized and through APIS or relevent software).
- Should create and develop Technical specifications for means of production and finalize DAP with nominated suppliers.
- Know how of cut and sew, Adhesive application and covering processes.
- Stay current with technological advancements.
- New Product development.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent co-ordination with project and plant CFT.
- CAD 2D and 3D software proficiency (Autocad, CATIA etc).
- Ability to establish program timing for capital and tooling investments.
- Ability to meet program deadlines.
- Validate the investments and compliance with the budgets for the assembly lines.
- Analyse the different indicators of the lines (scrap, OEE, efficiency) and implementation of monitoring plan.
- Piloting and participating in the installation of new means of production on site with the collaboration of the various departments concerned (Project, Plant Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Launch Team , etc).
- Closing of the IPA phase(Company Standard): Internal acceptance of the process via the document -
- I-P063-Q PROCESS ACCEPTANCE REPORT.
- Internal Packaging (WIP) Evaluation, development and validation.
- Working experience on Packaging softwares (Pack Assist etc).
- Change Management.
- Manage the final acceptance with the factory team.
- Consideration of environmental constraints when researching and setting up new processes.
- Program launch experience.
- Develop new production methods using engineering fundamentals.
- Working knowledge on SAP MM module.
- Product Industrialization: Develop improvements and modifications related to product and/or the project, structures, production methods and processes improvement.
- CI experience including working knowledge of 5S, RCA, Kaizen, GEMBA Walks, Layered Audits, Boardwalks, Lean principles and TPS etc.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 compliance standards and ISO 9001.
- Should be able to handle a complete project from offer to SOP+90 days.
- Development of the manufacturing synopsis.
- Automation Process (Drive Systems, robots, automatic painting process, automatic assembly, EOL, Vision based etc.)
