Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Planview Administrator to take complete ownership of our clients' Planview ecosystem. You will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and strategic optimization of Planview Portfolios (PPM) to ensure it aligns with business objectives and provides high-quality data for executive decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      System Administration: Provide end-to-end administration for Planview Portfolios, including user management, security profiles, and system health monitoring.

·      Configuration & Customization: Design and implement custom workflows, portfolio hierarchies, investment structures, and lifecycle processes within the platform.

·      Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and custom reports (SQL-based or via Planview’s native tools) to support PMO and executive leadership.

·      Integration Management: Oversee and maintain integrations between Planview and other enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or ERP systems) to ensure a "single source of truth."

·      User Support & Training: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for global user groups, providing Level 2/3 technical support and conducting onboarding sessions.

·      Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing configurations and recommend automations or enhancements to improve system performance and user adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·      Technical Expertise: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated experience in Planview Portfolios (PPM) administration and configuration.

·      Data Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for data extraction and custom reporting; experience with RDBMS (SQL Server).

·      Methodologies: Deep understanding of Project Management principles, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.

·      Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical system configurations.

·      Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·      Preferred Skills

·      Experience with Planview AgilePlace or Projectplace.

·      Familiarity with Power BI for advanced data visualization.

·      Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role or a centralized PMO environment.
