Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Production Manager role based in Medchal. The Plant Production Manager oversees daily production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring output to meet targets and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising production teams, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, coordinating with maintenance for equipment reliability, and managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods. The role also involves optimizing processes, reducing waste, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with quality, logistics, and procurement teams. The Plant Production Manager prepares reports on production performance and supports senior management in strategic planning for plant operations.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in production management within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
- Knowledge of process optimization, workflow planning, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control systems.
- Ability to supervise teams, assign work, resolve operational issues, and build a culture of accountability.
- Proficiency in using production planning tools, basic ERP or inventory systems, and MS Office applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical field; a relevant diploma with significant experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience in plastics, polymers, or expanded polystyrene manufacturing is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Manoharabad and manage shift-based operations when required.
