Job details:
Production Planning & Execution
- Execute daily production plans for Oats, Peanut Butter, and Rice Cakes as per schedule and target quantity.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Monitor line efficiency, output, and downtime during production.
Process Monitoring & Control
- Supervise production activities on processing and packing lines (Roasting, Mixing, Filling, PFS, Cartoning, etc.).
- Ensure correct machine settings, batch parameters, and product specifications are maintained.
- Monitor critical process parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.
Quality & Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and FSSAI standards during production.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in production areas.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for in-process quality checks and corrective actions.
Manpower Management
- Allocate duties to operators and helpers as per production requirements.
- Supervise workforce discipline, attendance, and shift performance.
- Provide on-the-job training to operators on machine operation and safety practices.
Machine & Equipment Handling
- Ensure proper operation of production equipment such as Roaster, Mixer, Grinder, PFS Machine, Weighing System, and Conveyor Systems.
- Coordinate with Maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown handling.
- Report equipment abnormalities and ensure timely corrective action.
Production Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and shift reports.
- Record material consumption, wastage, and yield data accurately.
- Ensure proper traceability of finished goods and raw materials.
Inventory & Material Control
- Monitor availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO implementation in production and storage areas.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Planning teams for material issuance and stock control.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to plant safety rules and safe working practices.
- Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participate in safety drills and incident investigations.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce wastage, improve productivity, and enhance process efficiency.
- Support implementation of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and OEE improvement initiatives.
