Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Operation role based in Rudrapur. The role involves overseeing daily plant operations to ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality requirements are consistently met. The plant operation professional will monitor equipment performance, coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams, and respond promptly to any operational issues. Responsibilities include supervising shop-floor activities, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate production and downtime records, and supporting audits and compliance requirements. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting implementation of preventive maintenance schedules, and contributing to process optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Strong Plant Operations and Operations Management skills, with the ability to oversee day-to-day production activities and drive efficient workflows.
- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, shift management, and performance monitoring on the shop floor.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices, working closely with maintenance teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Knowledge of Process Control, including monitoring key process parameters, implementing standard operating procedures, and supporting root cause analysis for process deviations.
- Understanding of safety, health, and environmental standards in a plant environment, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience in plant operations).
- Ability to interpret technical documents, production reports, and basic data analytics to support decision-making.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and in a shift-based environment, if required.
