Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plant Metallurgist, located in Howrah, West Bengal. The Plant Metallurgist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing metallurgical processes, conducting failure analysis, and ensuring quality standards are met in metal processing and production. Other responsibilities include managing extraction processes like leaching and implementing effective process control to meet production goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is integral to this role.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Process Control methodologies to optimize efficiency and quality in production processes.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in Metallurgy and Extractive Metallurgy.
  • Skill in performing Failure Analysis to identify the causes of system or material breakdowns.
  • Experience in Leaching and related metallurgical extraction techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or heavy industries environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
