Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plant Metallurgist located in Howrah, West Bengal. As a Plant Metallurgist, you will oversee and optimize metallurgical processes, conduct failure analysis, and work on extractive metallurgy and leaching techniques. The role involves monitoring process controls, supporting quality assurance efforts, and contributing to process improvements to enhance plant operations and product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Process Control and Metallurgical processes
• Knowledge and practical experience in Extractive Metallurgy and Leaching
• Proficiency in conducting Failure Analysis and implementing effective solutions
• Solid understanding of metallurgy and metal processing technologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing and material science
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
