Kaziranga University is looking for a Plant Manager for its Electrical Power Station, Water Treatment Plant & Sewage Treatment Plant:
Key responsibilities:
Supervise daily power operations, monitoring voltage, flow, and performance metrics, while managing staff, including training, scheduling, and safety enforcement. Ensure compliance with safety standards, handle emergencies, and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime. Lead strategic planning, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and manage reporting, AC maintenance, and Chiller Plant maintenance
Plan, organize, and direct treatment plant operations, including pumps, filtration, and chemical dosing, while supervising staff, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance. Monitor water quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and administer budgets for repairs, improvements, and cost tracking. Oversee maintenance, emergency response, safety programs, and coordination with engineering for upgrades.
Direct operations and maintenance of the plant and related infrastructure, supervising staff, enforcing safety, and evaluating performance. Monitor treatment processes, ensure compliance with discharge permits, and implement odor control and process improvements. Ensure reliable, efficient treatment while minimizing environmental impact and costs.
