Job Description
We are hiring a Plant & Machinery Foreman for a construction project based at Mahalaxmi. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supervising construction machinery and heavy equipment at site to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance and servicing of heavy equipment and machinery
- Handle machine breakdowns and coordinate repairs
- Ensure timely availability and deployment of machinery at site
- Supervise machine operators and helpers
- Monitor fuel consumption and spare parts inventory
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment reports
- Ensure machinery safety compliance and proper documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams regarding equipment requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction plant & machinery maintenance
- Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Civil preferred
- Experience handling JCB, Excavator, Crane, Hydra, Batching Plant, Loader etc.
- Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Construction / Infrastructure industry background preferred
