Role Description
The Plant HR Manager at PIAL's Nagpur MIDC unit is a critical independent contributor responsible for the full spectrum of plant-level HR operations. The incumbent will own industrial relations, contract labour management, blue-collar hiring, statutory compliance, and workforce efficiency — working with minimal supervision and reporting to senior HR leadership.
This is a hands-on, high-accountability role suited for an individual who can seamlessly navigate shop-floor dynamics, IR hearings, contractor negotiations, and HR technology platforms in an MSME manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- MSW (HR & Labour Welfare) / MBA – HR with LLB or Diploma in Labour Law preferred
- 7 – 10 Years (Manufacturing / MSME / Plant HR preferred)
- Ability to ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and organizational policies
- Strong skills in Blue-Collar Hiring, Training & Development, Performance Management, and Succession Planning
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and fostering employee engagement
- Exceptional organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in HR software and tools for managing employee data and performance tracking
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant operational environment is highly preferred
