Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic management of Floor mounted Solar Power plant. This role requires a blend of Technical expertise, Leadership, and Project Management skills to ensure the plant operates efficiently, meets performance targets, and adheres to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the solar plant, ensuring performance and efficiency.
- Ensure Delivery plan adherence with right Quality
- Operational Budget planning and adherence
- Lead Productivity and employee engagement
- Lean Manufacturing expertise to minimize all forms of waste
- Team Leadership:
- Promote cross functional team approach with effective connect to Key performance indicators
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring
- Monitor plant performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize energy output and minimize downtime.
- Analyze performance data and prepare regular Management information system to influence actions on time.
- Quality Maintenance Management
- Develop First time right culture in Process Quality
- Improve availability of equipment through Autonomous maintenance and TPM
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure the plant adheres to all relevant safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage plant-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and technology enhancements.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and stakeholders as needed
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory agencies, and community groups.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans for the solar plant.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements.
Qualification Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering /EC Engineering. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing Assembly line manufacturing facilities.
- 5+ years of work experience
