Position Overview

The Plant Head / Factory Head will lead the Bhoisar operations, overseeing a brownfield project execution and successful plant startup. This role carries full P&L accountability and is responsible for achieving operational, quality, safety, and cost objectives while ensuring compliance and driving a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead brownfield project execution and ensure successful plant startup within defined timelines.
• Deliver the annual operating plan aligned with quality, safety, environmental, and cost targets.
• Own full P&L responsibility for Bhoisar operations, driving performance across all key metrics.
• Ensure 100% legal and statutory compliance for all plant operations.
• Oversee EHS, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Customer Satisfaction, and Employee Engagement outcomes.
• Drive supply of industrial coatings to major OEM clients, maintaining zero-defect quality standards and adherence to automotive specifications.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and institutionalize Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Embed a performance-driven culture across production and support functions.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), ISO, and OHSAS standards.
• Manage relationships with government and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and develop a high-performance cross-functional team, fostering accountability and skill development.
  
  
  

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: BE – Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 15–20 years in plant operations, project execution, and manufacturing leadership.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage full P&L for a manufacturing site.
• Technical Expertise: Industrial coatings, Lean Manufacturing, EHS, ISO, and OHSAS compliance.
• Soft Skills: Strategic, results-driven, compliance-oriented, and adept at building high-performance teams.
