We are looking for an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Leader with 10+ years of strong manufacturing and planning expertise, preferably from Ayurveda, wellness, personal beauty, or pharma background. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end plant operations, supply chain efficiency, maintenance planning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Planning
- Lead end-to-end plant operations ensuring smooth production flow and timely dispatch.
- Develop production plans in line with demand forecasts and business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives and cost optimization.
Supply Chain Management
- Manage procurement planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor warehouse operations, dispatch planning, and logistics coordination.
- Implement best practices for supply chain efficiency and inventory reduction.
Plant Maintenance
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for plant machinery.
- Ensure equipment uptime and minimize downtime through planned maintenance.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance across plant operations.
Leadership & Team Building
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across production, supply chain, and maintenance.
- Drive workforce planning, training, and performance management.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
ERP / SAP
- Strong hands-on exposure to ERP/SAP for planning, procurement, inventory, and production reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and system discipline across operations.
- Support automation and process digitization initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in plant operations, planning, and supply chain.
- Strong preference for candidates from Ayurveda / Wellness / Personal Care / Beauty / Pharma / FMCG industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, compliance, and quality systems.
- Experience in managing plant maintenance and production efficiency.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team handling skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems.
