Job Title: Plant Head – Solar IndustryExperience: 12 to 20 year
Education: B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy) + MBA (Preferred)
Location: KIM, Surat
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly experienced Plant Head with end-to-end expertise in Production, Maintenance, and Quality within the solar industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving plant performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management:- Plan, manage, and control daily production activities
- Ensure achievement of production targets with maximum efficiency
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials)
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity
2. Maintenance Management:- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment
- Minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Develop maintenance schedules and ensure execution
- Coordinate with technical teams for troubleshooting
3. Quality Management:- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Implement quality control systems across production processes
- Monitor defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with ISO / industry standards
4. Overall Plant Operations:- Lead complete plant operations and cross-functional teams
- Monitor KPIs: production, quality, downtime, efficiency
- Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence
- Budget planning and cost optimization
- Vendor and stakeholder management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Expertise:- Strong knowledge of Production, Maintenance & Quality systems
- Experience in solar module / EPC / O&M operations
- Leadership and team handling capabilities
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with ISO standards and safety norms
