Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Grey Iron and Ductile Iron castings, serving customers across Automotive, Agriculture, Pump & Valve, Municipal, Construction, Railway, Engineering, and Industrial sectors. With a strong focus on quality, metallurgy, process control, and global exports, we are expanding our manufacturing operations and seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead our foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete foundry operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Tooling, Melting, Moulding, Fettling, and Dispatch.
- Ensure achievement of production targets, quality objectives, delivery commitments, and cost control.
- Manage melting operations, charge mix control, inoculation, nodularization, and metallurgical consistency.
- Drive continuous improvement in yield, productivity, rejection reduction, and process optimization.
- Develop and implement SOPs, process controls, and manufacturing best practices.
- Lead workforce planning, team development, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO systems, safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth execution of projects.
- Monitor plant KPIs including:
- Production Efficiency
- OEE
- Rejection %
- Yield %
- Melting Cost
- Labour Productivity
- On-Time Delivery
- Support new product development, PPAP submissions, and customer audits.
- Lead expansion projects, automation initiatives, and capacity enhancement programs.

- Green Sand Process
- SG Iron Production
- Process Engineering
- Metallurgy and Quality Control
- Pattern Development
- Core Shop Operations
- Casting Simulation Understanding
- Lean Manufacturing
- TPM & Preventive Maintenance
- Production Planning & Control
- Root Cause Analysis (8D, CAPA, Why-Why Analysis)
- Customer Complaint Handling
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
- Additional qualifications in Foundry Technology or Operations Management will be preferred.
