We are looking for a Plant Head who can run operations like a business unit — driving productivity, quality, delivery, cost optimization, and operational scalability.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership
- Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, dispatch, and shop-floor coordination
- Drive daily operational efficiency and ensure on-time delivery commitments
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and plant resources
- Develop systems to reduce operational firefighting and improve predictability
Production & Productivity
- Improve throughput, productivity, and plant output
- Reduce rework, wastage, downtime, and production bottlenecks
- Drive lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions proactively
Planning & Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, engineering, PPC, QA/QC, and dispatch teams
- Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules
- Drive cross-functional accountability and execution discipline
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications
- Maintain safety, compliance, and operational discipline across the plant
- Build strong quality-first manufacturing culture
Leadership & Team Building
- Build and mentor second-line leadership
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team development initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong exposure to electrical panel manufacturing, switchgear, modular systems, or sheet metal manufacturing
- Proven experience managing medium to large manufacturing operations
- Strong ERP/MRP understanding
