Designation: Plant Head / Head of Operations
Summary of Role Description:
The Plant Head / Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall management of manufacturing and operational activities of the company in India. The role includes ensuring smooth plant operations, achieving production and invoicing targets, improving operational systems and processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring coordination between production, procurement, stores, and sales teams in a high-mix and low-volume business environment. The position will also support business growth by strengthening domestic sales operations and supporting global sales with a timely response to customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall plant operations including Production, Planning, Quality, Procurement & Stores
• Achieve production and invoicing targets in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
• Drive operational improvements, SOP implementation, and process optimization
• Oversee CNC / VMC machining operations
• Strengthen coordination between production, procurement, stores and sales
• Support global sales teams with timely responses to customer enquiries
• Build and scale the domestic sales team
Experience Required
✔ 20+ years in manufacturing / plant operations
✔ B.E. Mechanical / Instrumentation or equivalent
✔ Strong leadership and cross-functional management experience
