Plant Head – ABS Technoshield India Pvt. Ltd. (Pune)Role OverviewABS Technoshield India Pvt. Ltd. is setting up an automated plating-on-plastic (POP) facility for ABS and PC-ABS components in Pune. We are looking for a Plant Head to lead plant commissioning, establish operational systems, and drive stable, high-quality production.
This role requires hands-on experience in electroplating / surface finishing operations, with the ability to build processes, teams, and discipline from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities- Lead plant setup, trial runs, and transition to full-scale production
- Establish and monitor production planning, shift operations, and output efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to process parameters, quality standards, and rejection control
- Oversee chemical process control, bath maintenance, and plating consistency
- Drive preventive and breakdown maintenance for plant equipment and utilities
- Implement safety practices, environmental compliance, and shopfloor discipline
- Build and manage production, maintenance, and quality teams
- Develop SOPs, reporting systems, and operational controls for smooth plant functioning
- Coordinate with management on capacity planning, cost control, and process improvements
Requirements- 8–15+ years of experience in electroplating / POP / surface finishing operations
- Prior experience in handling automated or semi-automated plating lines preferred
- Strong understanding of process control, quality issues, and shopfloor execution
- Experience in managing manpower, shifts, and plant-level decision-making
- Exposure to safety, environmental, and regulatory practices in manufacturing
- Ability to take ownership and drive operations in a new facility setup
