Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Plant Finance Controller to manage finance and control operations at our manufacturing unit. This role will focus on receivables, payables, inventory control (RM, WIP, FG), and process audits. Compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) is handled by external consultants—the role involves coordinating with them and ensuring accurate data.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Coordination
- Maintain books of accounts in Zoho ERP
- Coordinate with external consultants for GST, TDS, and statutory filings
- Ensure accurate and timely data sharing for compliance
2. Receivables & Payables Management
- Track receivables and drive timely collections
- Plan and execute vendor payments
- Monitor cash flow and working capital position
3. Inventory Control (Core Focus)
- Monitor and reconcile:
- Raw Material (RM)
- Work-in-Progress (WIP)
- Finished Goods (FG)
- Ensure system vs physical stock accuracy
- Identify excess consumption, shortages, and leakages
4. Process & System Audits (Critical)
- Audit store, production, and material movement processes
- Identify control gaps and implement improvements
- Ensure discipline in entries across ERP / Tally
5. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS:
- Consumption vs production
- Inventory ageing
- Cost tracking
- Highlight key issues and actionable insights
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with production, stores, and purchase teams
- Ensure proper documentation and process adherence
Key Requirements
- 4–8 years experience in manufacturing / plant accounting
- Strong understanding of RM, WIP, FG and inventory control
- Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP
- Comfortable working independently in a growing setup
