Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations leader to drive harmonious industrial relations, ensure statutory compliance, and enable smooth plant operations. The role focuses on managing workforce engagement, mitigating ER risks, and building a productive shop-floor culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive ER strategy and proactively identify & mitigate industrial relations risks
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and manage all legal/IR matters
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of blue-collar workforce
- Implement effective grievance redressal and dispute resolution mechanisms
- Maintain strong relationships with workmen, unions, contractors, and stakeholders
- Lead workforce engagement, welfare initiatives, and canteen operations
- Drive productivity improvement through workforce capability building
- Ensure discipline, payroll compliance, and process adherence across plant operations
- Develop flexible manpower models aligned with business needs
Key Requirements
- MBA/MSW in HR / IR or equivalent
- 9 –15 years of experience in manufacturing plants (unionised/non-unionised)
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience in handling unions, disputes, and negotiations
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
