Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gangaikondan near Tirunelveli for Plant Equipment Maintenance Technician in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical engineering. The responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Daily tasks involve performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues, and conducting equipment installation or upgrades when needed. Additional roles include documenting maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with other team members to support the electronic assembly line operations and adhere to KPI metrics of maintenance goals.
Qualifications
- Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency
- Experience in Equipment Installation and troubleshooting to manage and resolve technical issues
- Basic to advanced knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems used in industrial settings
- Ability to follow safety protocols and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering with 3 years of experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry or electronics industry with specialisation in maintenance
