Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Chemist based in Tumkur. The Plant Chemist will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations, conducting chemical and analytical testing, and ensuring adherence to quality control standards. The role includes supporting research and development (R&D) projects and optimizing chemical processes to enhance product quality and efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring safety compliance in a plant environment are critical facets of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong laboratory skills, including handling of equipment and conducting chemical experiments
- Proficiency in analytical skills for testing, data interpretation, and problem-solving
- Experience in quality control to ensure product compliance with regulatory standards
- Ability to assist in Research and Development (R&D) projects and process optimization
- Background in chemical engineering or a related scientific field
- Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance in a production environment
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or herbal extraction industries
