Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary):
To lead architecture governance, reliability strategy, and end-to-end ownership of plant automation systems including various ASRS handling cassettes and other MHEs, tyre handling automation, roll storage systems, AGVs, AGV charging infrastructure, RGVs, conveyors and associated material handling infrastructure. The role ensures seamless transition from project implementation to sustainable in-house Operations & Maintenance (O&M), embedding reliability, maintainability, and knowledge capture by design. Accountable for high system availability, lifecycle cost control, vendor governance, and spare parts optimization. The role acts as the technical custodian of plant automation architecture and ensures long-term sustainability, standardization, and reduced OEM dependency.

Technical Competencies (Common) •

The role acts as the technical custodian of plant automation architecture and ensures long-term sustainability, standardization, and reduced OEM dependency. • Experience with Siemens / Mitsubishi / AB PLC platforms • Familiarity with automation servers, MES interfaces, barcode scanners, and industrial sensors • Ability to interpret layouts, P&IDs, and manufacturing drawings • Experience in vendor coordination and commissioning of automation systems.
Education and Experience Required
Education: Diploma / Graduate in Engineering / B.E Mechatronics/ EEE/Instrumentation / Mechanical/ Electrical Experience: ➢ Diploma: 12+ years ➢ BE/BTech: 10+ years
