Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Planning Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Project Planning Manager will oversee end-to-end project planning for commercial interior fit-out projects, including defining scope, developing schedules, allocating resources, and setting milestones. Responsibilities include coordinating with design, procurement, site execution, and subcontractor teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role involves preparing and updating project plans, monitoring progress against timelines and budgets, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation measures. The Project Planning Manager will also support client communication, prepare reports and dashboards for leadership, and drive process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Project planning and control skills, including developing work breakdown structures, creating detailed schedules, and tracking progress using planning tools.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities to work closely with design, engineering, procurement, site execution teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Proficiency in project management and productivity software (e.g., MS Project or similar tools, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms).
- Solid understanding of commercial interior fit-out and civil construction processes, materials, and sequencing, preferably in turnkey projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage project risks, handle constraints, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and client presentations.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects or sites in parallel, and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in project planning or project management within commercial interiors, fit-out, or construction will be highly beneficial.
