Position Overview
The Planning Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, governance, and execution control of EV charging infrastructure projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while enabling seamless operational handover and long-term network performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term deployment plans aligned with business growth targets.
- Own the integrated project plan, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements are accurately tracked and managed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams - including Network Development, Setup, and Operations - to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress against committed timelines, budgets, and KPIs, proactively driving corrective actions where required.
- Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints, and implement mitigation plans to minimize project delays.
- Govern project planning through accurate reporting, dashboards, and management reviews, ensuring complete visibility of project status.
- Manage contractor and vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality, safety, contractual, and technical standards.
- Drive cost control by monitoring project budgets, forecasting variances, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Ensure all projects comply with applicable technical specifications, statutory requirements, safety regulations, and internal governance processes.
- Lead operational readiness planning, ensuring successful handover of completed sites to Operations with all documentation, approvals, and quality checks completed.
- Analyse deployment and operational performance data to identify trends, improve planning accuracy, increase execution efficiency, and enhance network uptime.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and project governance frameworks to support rapid business scaling.
