Job Summary:
The Plant Planner will play a crucial role in optimising operations within our state-of-the-art desalination facility. This role focuses on strategic planning and scheduling to keep the plant running efficiently, supporting our mission to deliver sustainable water solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the plant's operational schedule, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Monitor production outcomes and adjust planning based on performance metrics and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate and execute equipment maintenance and shutdown activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Analyze data and trends to forecast future production needs and create contingency plans.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on planning objectives and project timelines.
- Document and report on planning outcomes and provide analytical insights to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
