About the Role
Pee Pee Mandal Projects Pvt. Ltd., a Delhi-based railway and metro infrastructure construction company established in 2005, is looking for a Planning Manager to join our team on the Chennai Metro Rail Project (C4-TRK-01) — supply, installation, testing and commissioning of standard-gauge track works across Underground and Elevated sections, executed as a subcontractor to IRCON International Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for track installation works (Underground and Viaduct sections)
- Certification of monthly IPA/IPCs (Interim Payment Applications/Certificates) in coordination with the General Contractor (IRCON) and CMRL
- Interface planning with other system contractors and civil works agencies
- Preparation and tracking of work programmes, resource allocation, and milestone schedules for a 12-month execution timeline
- Coordination with site execution teams to align planning with actual progress
- Support billing cycles by ensuring planned quantities align with certified and executed work
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of total work experience in construction/infrastructure projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a planning role, specifically in railway or metro rail track works
- Prior experience in ballasted and/or ballastless track systems preferred
- Familiarity with metro rail contract structures (IRCON/CMRL/DMRC or similar metro corporations) is an advantage
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (project site)
Duration: Project-based, aligned with 12-month contract completion timeline
