Role Description The Planning Lead Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in NOCIL DAHEJ. The role involves developing and maintaining project plans and schedules for Chemical Plant. Candidate must have Chemical Plant experience and must be able to coordinate with design, production, and site teams to align timelines, resources, and deliverables. The Planning Lead Engineer will monitor project progress, track milestones, and implement project control processes to manage risks, delays, and changes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project data, preparing status reports, supporting production planning, and communicating updates to internal stakeholders and clients. The role also includes optimizing workflows, improving planning methodologies, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company procedures.
Qualifications
- As our current project is in NOCIL Dahej chemical plant, Candidate must have a strong chemical experience.
- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop realistic schedules and coordinate engineering and construction activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to interpret project data, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present clear status updates and reports.
- Experience in civil/structural engineering projects, preferably in industrial units, substations, transmission lines, or similar infrastructure.
- Proficiency in planning and documentation tools; familiarity with STAAD, AutoCAD/ZWCAD, and MS Office is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications in project management or planning are beneficial.
