AGT Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to drive project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
This role is critical in ensuring on-time project delivery, cost efficiency, and strategic resource utilization through data-driven planning and proactive coordination across functions.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
- Prepare baseline programs and track deviations against planned progress.
🔹 Monitoring & Control
- Conduct regular project progress tracking and variance analysis.
- Generate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
🔹 Resource & Cost Planning
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Support cost control initiatives through forecasting and productivity analysis.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for resource alignment.
🔹 Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Consultants.
- Ensure alignment between execution teams and project timelines.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide actionable insights.
🔹 Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, and logs.
- Prepare catch-up plans, recovery schedules, and delay analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and reporting requirements.
🔹 Risk & Performance Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
- 10+ years of experience in planning and scheduling of civil/infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in handling multiple projects and complex timelines.
Core Competencies
- Strong command over Primavera P6 / MS Project and advanced Excel.
- In-depth understanding of construction sequences and methodologies.
- Expertise in delay analysis, resource planning, and cost tracking.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
