Role Overview
Manage project planning, progress tracking, quantity measurement, and billing functions for industrial and commercial projects across Gujarat. Responsible for preparing baseline and look-ahead schedules, processing client RA bills, verifying subcontractor claims, and maintaining accurate BOQ and BBS documentation. Serve as the technical interface between site execution, commercial teams, clients, and consultants to ensure timely, audit-ready billing and progress reporting aligned with contract requirements and NCPL's financial discipline.
Responsibilities
- Prepare baseline schedules, weekly progress plans, and look-ahead plans for site execution
- Conduct quantity take-off and maintain updated BOQ and BBS based on GFC drawings
- Prepare and submit client Running Account (RA) bills with accurate measurement sheets and supporting documentation
- Analyse, verify, and certify subcontractor and vendor running bills for accuracy and contractual compliance
- Track, document, and coordinate approvals for extra items, variations, and change orders
- Maintain reconciliation between BOQ quantities, executed work, and billed amounts
- Coordinate with site teams, clients, consultants, PMCs, and vendors on billing, measurement, and progress matters
- Ensure all billing and planning documentation is audit-ready and compliant with contract terms
Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in BOQ preparation, BBS generation, billing, and measurement practices
- Expertise in GFC drawing interpretation and quantity extraction
- Understanding of rate analysis, contract clauses, and commercial terms
- Ability to track project progress against baseline schedules and identify variances
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management across site, client, consultants, and vendors
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and audit readiness
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking for billing queries and contractual issues
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for MIS, reporting, BOQ management, and billing sheets
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent planning software (preferred)
- Familiarity with construction documentation and digital tools
Success Metrics
- Client RA bills submitted and certified on time with minimal queries
- Low billing rework and revision rates; first-time-right submissions
- Clean reconciliation between BOQ, executed work, and billed quantities
- Variations and extra items approved and documented within defined timelines
- Subcontractor bills processed and certified within agreed turnaround time
- Audit-ready documentation maintained consistently across all billing cycles
