Role Description
We are hiring a full-time Billing and Planning Engineer for an on-site position in Vadodara. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to. Responsibilities include preparing bills of quantities, coordinating with project teams, managing documentation, and monitoring work progress. The role also involves identifying risks, optimizing resources, and communicating regularly with stakeholders to drive the success of our engineering projects.
Qualifications
- Prepare DPR, BOQ items, revenue, billed & WIP.
- Budget review & next quarter projections as per SOP.
- Monitor daily major item costs; reconcile materials & contractor bills.
- Update WIP, RA/PV bill status & collections; follow up billing.
- Ensure site quality & safety; verify vendor bills; client coordination.
- Prepare & submit client/subcontractor bills; issue debit notes if needed.
- Coordinate site measurements with contractor & engineers.
- Knowledge of Earthwork for railway bridge work.
- Maintain billing records; MS Excel, Word & AutoCAD proficient.
- Reconcile quantities; understand BOQ & IS Code measurements.
- Cost & construction material analysis; prepare summaries & daily labour reports.
- On-site presence required.
- Exposure to outdoor environments, heavy machinery, and construction hazards.
- Travel between multiple project sites as needed.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Road or Dam Construction.
- Bachelors in Civil Engineer or Diploma.
