To know more about Plan India, visit www.planindia.org Summary of the position: The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting HR Operations & Talent Acquisition i.e payroll processing, HR data management, MIS reporting, Recruitments & Onboarding. The role requires close coordination with the HR Manager to ensure timely recruitment, onboarding and accurate salary processing, proper record keeping, and compliance with organizational and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: • Lead end-to-end recruitment process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires across projects and functions. • Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive engagement and partnerships. • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. • Support in designing and implementing effective onboarding programs. Payroll & Compliance: • Assist in processing payroll in coordination HR Manager. • Maintain up-to-date payroll records and respond to employee payroll queries. • Support internal and external payroll audits by providing necessary documentation. • Track and update changes in minimum wages and statutory benefits applicable to employees. Data Management & MIS Reporting: • Maintain employee records, including personal files and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Prepare periodic HR MIS reports (headcount, payroll cost, attrition, etc.). • Ensure timely submission of reports to management and relevant stakeholders. • Maintain salary charging data and WBS allocations as per guidance from HR Manager. • Assist in reconciliations between payroll and accounting records for reporting purposes. Coordination & Support: • Support HR Manager in annual audits and donor compliance requirements related to payroll and benefits. • Coordinate with Finance for disbursement and reconciliation of payroll-related payments. • Provide support during HR audits by ensuring proper documentation and record availability. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in employee engagement activities as needed. • Support documentation to meet audit and donor compliance requirements. • Any other task assigned by the HR Manager.
