Role Description The Placement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for connecting Techtonic Lab learners with suitable job opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with hiring partners, understanding employer requirements, and matching candidates to relevant openings. The role involves coordinating placement drives, scheduling interviews, and providing learners with pre-interview guidance and feedback. The Placement Specialist will track placement outcomes, maintain detailed placement records, and collaborate with training teams to align learner skills with market demand. This role also includes conducting workshops on resume building, interview skills, and professional etiquette to enhance learner employability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with learners and corporate partners.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess candidate profiles, job requirements, and placement trends.
- Candidates should possess Training and mentoring capabilities to guide learners on interview preparation, resume development, and career planning.
- Candidates should possess Recruiting skills to source opportunities, screen candidates, and coordinate hiring processes with employers.
- Experience in placement, HR, recruiting, or career services, preferably within the IT or education sector, is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and online communication tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with trainers and management, and maintain accurate placement records and reports.
