What You Will Do
Sourcing & Employer Outreach
• Actively prospect and reach out to companies in Gurgaon and the broader NCR region to source open tech roles for ALTA students
• Cold-call, email, visit, and network your way into HR teams, talent acquisition leads, and hiring
managers
• Attend job fairs, industry meetups, startup events, and tech community gatherings to expand the
employer network
• Maintain a live pipeline of active JDs, company conversations, and follow-up timelines
• Identify the right roles for the right students and not just volume, but fit
End-to-End Placement Execution
• Own the full cycle for every student you're responsible for — from sharing a JD to confirming the offer letter
• Coordinate interview schedules between students and company HR teams, managing logistics on both sides
• Brief students before every interview round, role context, company culture, what to expect
• Follow up relentlessly after every round to get feedback and keep the process moving
Student Engagement & Preparation
• Stay close to your student cohort — know their strengths, gaps, preferences, and progress
• Work with the Head of Placements to flag students who need extra interview prep or profile support
• Share real market feedback with students after every drive — what companies are actually looking for
• Build student confidence through honest, practical coaching before drives
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain genuine, long-term relationships with HR and talent teams — not just transactional ones
• Be ALTA's consistent point of contact for every company you bring in
• Gather recruiter feedback post-placement to improve how future drives are run
• Keep company profiles, contact databases, and interaction logs updated and accurate
Reporting & Coordination
• Update the Head of Placements regularly on employer pipeline, student status, and any blockers
• Maintain accurate records of all drives, interviews, offers, and rejections
• Flag patterns — if students are dropping at the same stage repeatedly, say so and suggest fixes
• Contribute to post-cycle placement reports with ground-level insights
