Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Officer based in Chennai. The Placement Officer will coordinate and organize campus placement activities, build and maintain relationships with potential employers, and assist students in securing placement opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting career counseling sessions, arranging training programs for skill development, and ensuring smooth communication between students, educational institutions, and hiring organizations. The role requires proactive engagement in identifying job trends and aligning them with training modules.
Qualifications
- Experience in Campus Placement coordination and building employer relationships
- Strong Communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Career Counseling and guiding individuals toward suitable career paths
- Background in Training and Education, with an understanding of skill enhancement strategies
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the technology or education sector is a plus
