Role Description The Placement Officer role at RIIM Pune is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The Placement Officer will coordinate campus placement activities, including identifying potential recruiters, building and maintaining relationships with companies, and organizing placement drives, interviews, and pre-placement talks. Daily responsibilities include guiding students on career options, supporting resume and interview preparation, conducting employability-focused training sessions, and maintaining placement-related records and reports. The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative teams to align training and placement initiatives with program objectives, tracking placement outcomes, and continuously improving processes to enhance student success in the job market.
Qualifications
- Strong campus placement and corporate outreach skills, with proven ability to manage placement drives and employer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently with students, recruiters, and internal stakeholders.
- Career counseling and student guidance skills to help learners identify suitable roles and prepare for recruitment processes.
- Training and education-related skills, including designing and delivering sessions on employability, soft skills, and interview readiness.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in placement, corporate relations, or talent acquisition in an academic or training environment is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple events and deadlines, and use spreadsheets or placement management tools effectively.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, job market requirements, and campus recruitment practices.
