Role Description
The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur, responsible for managing end-to-end placement activities for learners aiming to enter the banking and financial services sector. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with hiring partners, identifying suitable opportunities, and matching candidates to roles based on their skills and career goals. The Placement Manager will coordinate interview schedules, support candidates with resume refinement and interview preparation, and track placement outcomes to meet defined targets. The role also involves collaborating with training teams to align learning programs with market needs, maintaining accurate placement records, and providing regular reports and feedback to internal stakeholders. This position requires proactive outreach, consistent follow-up with employers and candidates, and a focus on delivering high-quality placement experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and networking skills to engage with banks, financial institutions, and corporate partners.
- Experience in career services, talent acquisition, or placement coordination, preferably within education, training, or financial services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to guide candidates and interact with hiring managers.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple placement cycles, maintain records, and meet placement targets.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess candidate profiles, interpret market trends, and recommend suitable opportunities.
- Comfort with using CRM or placement management systems, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate in a team environment, and maintain a professional, inclusive approach to candidate support.
