Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading and coordinating campus placement activities across the Presidency Group of Institutions. In this role, the Placement Manager will build and maintain relationships with industry partners, identify relevant recruitment opportunities, and organize placement drives, internships, and career events for students. Daily responsibilities include engaging with students to understand their career goals, conducting pre-placement sessions, coordinating training on employability skills, and tracking placement outcomes and reports. The Placement Manager will collaborate closely with academic departments, alumni, and corporate recruiters to ensure strong placement pipelines, while continuously improving placement processes and communication. The role also involves representing the institution professionally to external stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the group’s vision, mission, and values.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and corporate outreach for campus placements.
- Experience in student counseling, career guidance, and mentoring related to employability and career paths.
- Ability to plan and execute placement drives, training programs, and events with solid organizational and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in communication, presentation, and negotiation to interact effectively with students, recruiters, and academic teams.
- Data management and reporting skills to track placement statistics, analyze trends, and prepare regular placement reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience in placement management, corporate relations, or talent acquisition within educational institutions or recruiting firms is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with current industry hiring practices, emerging job roles, and sector-wise placement opportunities.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusive student support.
