Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for driving successful student and learner placements in cybersecurity and related domains. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with hiring partners, cybersecurity firms, and corporate organizations, and identifying suitable opportunities aligned with Offenso’s training programs. The Placement Manager will coordinate placement drives, schedule interviews, and support learners with resume preparation, portfolio building, and interview readiness. The role includes tracking placement outcomes, maintaining accurate placement data, and preparing reports and insights to improve placement strategies. The Placement Manager will collaborate closely with training, career support, and marketing teams to align curriculum outcomes with industry expectations and enhance the academy’s placement brand.
Qualifications
- Strong industry networking and relationship management skills, with experience engaging employers, recruiters, and corporate partners.
- Placement coordination and career services skills, including managing placement drives, interview scheduling, and candidate pipelines.
- Career coaching and student support abilities, such as guiding learners on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and career pathways.
- Organizational and data management skills for tracking placement metrics, maintaining databases, and preparing reports and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with learners, faculty, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
- Prior experience in placement management, recruitment, talent acquisition, or career services, preferably in education, training, or IT/cybersecurity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; an understanding of cybersecurity roles and skills is highly beneficial.
