Job Title: Manager – Placements
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Placements to lead and strengthen our corporate relations and placement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with an MBA from a reputed business school, along with strong exposure to domains such as Finance, Business Analytics, or Data Science. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent industry connections and the ability to drive successful placement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to onboard new corporate partners for student placements and internships.
- Build, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective recruiters.
- Drive end-to-end placement activities, including outreach, engagement, and closure of opportunities.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to secure quality placement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with academic teams to align student capabilities with industry requirements.
- Plan and facilitate regular interactions such as meetings, presentations, and engagement activities with corporate partners.
- Monitor placement performance and partnership effectiveness, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Proactively address and resolve challenges during the placement process.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on placement metrics, recruiter engagement, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Stay updated with industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging opportunities to enhance placement strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: MBA or equivalent from a reputed business school
- Experience: 8–10 years in placements, corporate relations, or a similar domain
Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of campus placement processes and industry expectations
- Excellent networking, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record in driving successful placement strategies and outcomes
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing teams
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
