Role Description The Placement Manager will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end placement activities for IRBF learners in the BFSI sector. This full-time, on-site role is based in Thane and requires close coordination with banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions to identify hiring needs and secure placement opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining employer relationships, organizing campus recruitment drives, scheduling interviews, and tracking placement outcomes. The Placement Manager will support learners in resume preparation, interview readiness, and career counseling to enhance their employability. The role also involves maintaining placement records, generating reports for management, and collaborating with the training team to align programs with current industry requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and networking skills with the ability to engage employers in the BFSI sector.
- Experience in campus placements, recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably within education, training, or BFSI domains.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with learners and corporate partners.
- Ability to provide career guidance, interview coaching, and resume support to entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management for maintaining placement records and preparing reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in Management, HR, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to banking, financial services, or skilling/training organizations will be considered a strong plus.
- Proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and meet placement objectives.
