Key Responsibilities:
Employer Acquisition & Corporate Connects:
• Proactively identify and onboard pharma companies, biotech firms, CROs, diagnostic labs, genomics companies, and research institutions as hiring partners.
• Build a strong pipeline of 50+ active corporate partners for placement and internship programs.
• Conduct consultative discussions with HR heads, TA leaders, and department managers to understand their fresher and experienced hiring needs.
• Represent Biotecnika at industry events, pharma conclaves, and HR roundtables to strengthen our employer brand.
End-to-End Placement Execution:
• Own the complete placement lifecycle from company onboarding to offer letter rollout.
• Design and execute structured placement drives, virtual hiring events, and campus-style recruitment programs for our learners.
• Coordinate JD collection, student shortlisting, interview scheduling, feedback tracking, and offer management.
• Track placement KPIs daily — companies onboarded, interviews conducted, offers made, and joinings confirmed.
Student Outcomes & Career Support:
• Work closely with the training team to align curriculum with industry hiring expectations.
• Conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, and pre-placement orientation sessions for enrolled students.
• Ensure a minimum placement rate target is achieved for each cohort.
• Act as the point of contact for students on career queries, placement timelines, and job opportunities.
Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with HR teams, hiring managers, and academic coordinators.
• Maintain a live CRM of all corporate connections with interaction history and opportunity status.
• Gather hiring feedback from partners and relay insights to curriculum and admissions teams.
Strategy & Planning:
• Design annual and quarterly placement calendars aligned with batch timelines.
• Identify new verticals — clinical trials, bioinformatics, bioanalytical labs, regulatory affairs — to expand placement opportunities.
• Benchmark Biotecnika's placement outcomes against industry standards and propose improvements.
Who We Are Looking For:
Experience:
• 5+ years in any of the following: Placement Officer / TPO at life sciences or pharma colleges, Employer Relations / Corporate Connect in EdTech, Talent Acquisition or campus hiring in pharma, biotech, CRO, or diagnostics, HR / TA in a life sciences company with fresher hiring experience.
Must-Have Skills & Traits:
• Proven track record of bringing companies to campus or placing students/freshers into jobs — numbers matter here.
• Existing network of HR contacts in pharma, biotech, CRO, diagnostics, or research sectors
• Strong consultative communication skills — you should be as comfortable talking to a TA head as you are guiding a student on their career path.
• High ownership and accountability — you will own placement numbers, not just coordinate activities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with ambitious targets and quick decision-making.
• Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and communication platforms (WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, email).
Good to Have:
• Experience in EdTech or training organizations specifically in the STEM or healthcare space.
• Understanding of regulatory, clinical, or bioinformatics job functions in the pharma/biotech sector.
