Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
- Experience in designing and developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Experience working with database schemas, system tables, and complex queries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major database platform such as Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with database installation, backup, restore, and table creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Translate application requirements into efficient database logic.
- Perform query tuning, optimization, and indexing to improve performance.
- Troubleshoot database and application-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Handle basic database administration tasks such as installation, backup, restore, and schema creation.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and development teams across the project lifecycle.
- Review requirements with business users and provide accurate effort estimates.
- Maintain clean, well-documented code and ensure quality deliverables.
- Manage priorities and deliver tasks within tight timelines.
- Participate actively in team discussions and collaborative development practices.
