JOB SUMMARY:
The QC Label Room Inspector is responsible for pulling, staging, and issuing labels according to work orders, as well as generating barcode labels when needed. This role manages printed material inventory, maintains distribution logs, and oversees reject and destruction documentation. Additional duties may be assigned by supervision, and the position requires daily overtime and rotating weekend shifts.
Working Schedule: Monday -Thursday 7 am -5 pm
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Degree required, College coursework a plus
- 2 years’ experience in related field preferred
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of FDA/cGMP guidelines
- Basic writing and math skills
- Fluent in English, Bilingual in Spanish a plus
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull labels as indicated on the work order
- Stage picked labels for distribution
- Generate barcode labels for work orders as required
- Service the supply window by issuing labels and related materials to packaging lines; receive and process returned printed materials
- Track and maintain labeling inventory
- Maintain logs of printed material distribution
- Prepare NCMRs for rejected materials as needed
- Investigate printed material variances as required
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
- Work overtime hours as required, including rotating weekends
PHYISICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds, vision to monitor, moderate to loud noise levels. Incumbents may be exposed to or work with toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, and dangerous tools and equipment. Work is performed in an office or laboratory environment. Incumbents must be able to use personal protective equipment (e.g. respirators, gloves, etc.).
